Day One Special Thanks

We're turning in for the night on day one and I have one more thing to say. I want to make it clear that Ellen deserves some major kudos for carrying out the lion's share of trip planning details. While I spent the month of August feverishly whipping my scholarly objectives into shape so I could leave town, Ellen was preparing gear, food, curriculum, and travel plans so all of us could really leave town. She deserves a ton of credit for how hard she worked to make this happen. It's to her efforts that we're en route to Glacier National Park, Montana and beyond. To Ellen, thank you for all you do. Your organizational skills are amazing and obvious to anyone in your life who has worked with you.

Now, let's learn about the natural history of the American West. We will begin with a two day stint in Fargo, ND. From there we push west with a two day drive to Glacier NP. We will arrive on Friday September 6. Hopefully we will find an internet connection before we get there to upload a post on Lewis and Clark.
